Hey I'm Mia
Simply put, I love to create. Always have. The rush of putting something out into the world that didn’t exist before is definitely addictive. My time in the Visual Communication Design program at Virginia Tech provided me with an environment of fellow doers, thinkers, and makers who constantly pushed me creatively. The past four years taught me not only to channel this creative energy into purposeful design, but also the importance of curiosity.
I am always open to taking risks and actively looking to learn new things. I have spent the last year and a half working at various design firms including Lustre, Joba, and frog while attending school full time in an attempt to do just that. Moving forward, I hope to continue to fuel my desire to create, learn, and make an impact.
